Step 1: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a little olive oil. Once the skillet is hot, add ground chicken (500 grams) and cook it until browned and crumbled with a spatula. This should take about 6-8 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Step 2: Add chopped onion (1 small) and minced garlic (2 cloves) to the skillet. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant.
Step 3: Pour in heavy cream or milk (240 ml) into the skillet and stir well. Let it simmer slightly until the sauce thickens.
Step 4: Add pasta (300 grams) to the skillet. Pour in enough chicken broth (or water) to cover the pasta. Stir well and cover the skillet. Let the pasta cook in the sauce for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally until the pasta is tender and fully cooked.
Step 5: Once the pasta is cooked, reduce the heat to low. Add shredded mozzarella cheese (200 grams) and shredded parmesan cheese (50 grams), and stir until completely melted, creating a creamy cheese sauce.
Step 6: Taste and adjust the seasoning by adding more salt and black pepper, or red pepper flakes (1/4 teaspoon) if desired.
Step 7: Garnish with fresh parsley or basil if you like.
